PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeless discharge lamp capable of exciting a luminous substance sealed in the discharge lamp without an electrode by a high-frequency magnetic field and having it emit light stably for a long time. SOLUTION: With the electrodeless discharge lamp provided with a rod-shaped resonator 12 with one end grounded and the other end electrically open and having an arc tube at that other end, a micro-strip wire path 15 fitted in opposition to the resonator for emitting a microwave supplied from outside to the resonator, and a reflector 2 radiaing discharged light from the arc tube outside and having the arc tube emit light by an electric field emitted from the resonator, the resonator is structured by forming a conductor 9 on the surface of a rod-shaped support member 8, and the rod-shaped support member and the arc tube are integrally structured.
