PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a red phosphor (SrTiO<SB>3</SB>:Pr, Al) for low-speed electron beams which can extend the lifetime of the phosphor, and a fluorescent indication tube using the phosphor. SOLUTION: The red phosphor (SrTiO<SB>3</SB>:Pr, Al) for low-speed electron beams of a SrTiO<SB>3</SB>host activated with Pr and Al is prepared, and an electroconductive oxide (6b) is coated on the surface of this phosphor (6a) and, simultaneously, zeolite particles (6c) are incorporated thereinto.
