PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinyl chloride-based resin composition having excellent heat resistance, electric insulation, colorability or the like so as to allow a wire-coating material or the like to be used under a severe condition. SOLUTION: The vinyl chloride-based resin composition is obtained by compounding (i) 0.01-10 pts. mass. Mg-Al-based hydrotalcite-type particle powder having 0.3-1.0μm plate diameter and 0.02-0.08μm thickness, and having the surface covered with one or more kinds of surface coating materials selected from a higher fatty acid, an organosilane compound and rosins, and (ii) 0.001-10 pts. mass. phenol-based antioxidant represented by general formulas (I) or (II) with 100 pts. mass. vinyl chloride-based resin.
