PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating osteoporosis and prostatomegaly performed by drinking deutrium-reduced water (super light water). SOLUTION: This method for treating osteoporosis and prostatomegaly by the deutrium-reduced water (super light water) which is an aqueous solution suitable for human, having water and 0.1-110 ppm deutrium content, or containing 0.1-110 ppm deutrium content as an activator together with a carrier or an assistant and having a form of a pharmaceutic product or a medicinal solution, is provided.
