The bottle stopper has a seal(4) of suitable film by which the bottle neck opening(3) is closed off. A cap with a collar is screwed onto the bottle with the seal to fix the seal over the opening, but provides a free access to the seal through the cap top. A sleeve-form adaptor(6) with an internal thread or inner bead is screwed or pushed onto the cap and locks into an external slot in the cap and similarly proved free access to the seal.
