The measuring chamber has a sample holder (1), an outer sleeve (2) which is closed at one end and a freely rotatable inner sleeve (3) closed at the same end, both sleeves having a wall opening (4) and a coupling piece (5) for connection to a photosensitive measuring device. The sample holder is secured to the open end of the measuring chamber via a bayonet coupling, the inner sleeve displaced by rotation of the sample holder to bring the openings in both sleeves into alignment, for freeing the light path to the photosensitive measuring device.
