PURPOSE: A hardware structure of a GIPAM(diGital Integrated Protection And Monitoring equipment) is provided to slim and integrate the GIPAM, realize various measurement/relay functions, detect a failure correctly and quickly, and support the function for user's convenience by making a CPU part and a DSP(Digital Signal Processor) part into one board. CONSTITUTION: The CPU part(20) comprises a 386EX CPU(21), a CPU RAM(22), a CPU EPLD(Erasable Programmable Logic Device)(23), a CPU flash ROM(24), a nonvolatile timekeeping RAM(25), and a peripheral circuit. The CPU part controls communication with the DSP part(30), transmits a signal for external control and an external device based on an operation result of a DSP, and processes key operation and control for the MMI(Man Machine Interface) by linking with an LCD board and a keyboard. The DSP part comprises the 32-bit DSP(31), a DSP RAM(32), a DSP EPLD(33), a DSP flash ROM(34), and the peripheral circuit. The DSP part calculates a result for measuring and controlling a circuit breaker through an operation such as digital filtering of inputted voltage and current value, and transfers the signal to the CPU part.
