PURPOSE: A method and a system for selling a music character using a computer network are provided to edit music fit to a taste or feeling of a user, feel the familiar and unique feeling by remixing user's voice to the character, and maximize an AD(ADvertisement) effect by using the character to a card mail, chatting, and an AD. CONSTITUTION: A server computer(50) is installed to a company selling the music character. A user computer(10) remixes the music, sells the music character of a file format, and uses the music character to the card mail, the chatting, and music broadcasting by connecting to the server computer. The user computer advertises the music or the character to others by joining in an event or a game with the music character. An advertiser computer(20) advertises the music or the character of an advertiser. An entertainer computer(30) advertises the music or the character of an entertainer. The server computer includes a control part and a database. The control part includes a main program(51), a music processing program(52), a character processing program(53), a music character processing program(54), a copy protection program(55), a selling program(56), and a remix program(57).
