PURPOSE: An auto dummy gun is provided to improve quality of welding articles by detecting a separation of a welding tip in real time while a welding process is being carried out. CONSTITUTION: An auto dummy gun(100) includes a bus bar(15) making contact with an electrode tip(13) of a robot gun(11), upper and lower holders(17,19) connected to the bus bar(15), and a welding tip(12) coupled to front ends of the upper and lower holders(17,19) so as to perform welding work through the bus bar(15). A fluid path(10) is formed in the upper and lower holders(17,19) and the welding tip(12) so as to provide an air path. An air pressure control section(20) is connected to the fluid path(10) through an air pipe(14). The air pressure control section(20) detects air pressure in the fluid path(10) so as to detect separation of the welding tip(12).
