HIGH PRESSURE SUPPLY PUMP

PURPOSE: A high pressure supply pump is provided to reduce an increase in an oil temperature by reducing an amount of fuel of a high pressure spilled from a pressure control valve. CONSTITUTION: Three barrel parts are formed integratedly with a housing in a radial direction. Plungers(7) are matched with the barrel parts respectively. A pre-stroke control valve(1) formed of a sheet type needle valve, an amateur, and a solenoid is installed at an inlet of one plunger. Sheet type check valves are formed at inlets of the other plungers and ball type check valves(9) are formed at outlets of the two plungers. The two plungers accumulate pressures of fuel by pumping full strokes. The plunger having the pre-stroke control valve controls a close point of the inlet valve to discharge fuel as much as an amount necessary for a jet amount and a target pressure of a common rail.
