<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly and precisely select a necessary selected object even when a number of selected objects is simultaneously displayed in one screen. <P>SOLUTION: In Fig. (a), for example in electronic voting, a candidate selecting screen P1 wherein a greatly large number of candidates (the selected objects) is arranged as display areas for displaying the name or belonging party of the candidates is displayed in an display screen 1 provided with a touch panel. As shown in Fig. (b), if a candidate is selected by touching one of the display areas with a fingertip 6, an operating button 8 is displayed in the maximum area that is not superimposed on the display area of the adjacent candidate even at a part, and the display area of the selected candidate is expanded and displayed in the operating button 8. Therefore, the name or belonging party of the selected candidate can be easily confirmed, and after confirming, the operating button 8 is pressed, by voting in the selected candidate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
