<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organ storage device for carrying organs preserved in a better condition. <P>SOLUTION: The organ storage device 1 comprises a thermal insulation container 3 with a thermal insulation space 2, an openable inner box 4 detachably housed in the space 2, an organ chamber 6 housed in said inner box 4 together with a cold insulator 5 and containing an organ A and a preservative liquid B, a preservative liquid bag 7 containing the preservative liquid to be fed to the organ, a waste liquid bag 8 for containing and holding a waste liquid discharged from the organ, and a preservative liquid circulating mechanism comprising tubes 9a and 9b and a pump 10 arranged so as to feed the organ with the preservative liquid in said bag 7 and send a waste liquid from the organ to the bag 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
