PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily produce the powder of a copper-zinc alloy while controlling its composition. SOLUTION: For example, a ring 1 made of copper is used as an anode. A wire 2 made of copper is wired at the center from below, and the tip part thereof is used as a cathode. An aqueous solution comprising copper sulfate and zinc sulfate at a prescribed molar concentration ratio is used as an electrolytic solution 3 and is poured inside the ring made of copper. A cover 4 of a thin polyethylene film is put thereon to make a solution layer with a thickness of about 1 mm. In this case, the length of the cathode in the part orthogonal to the bias direction and the thickness of the solution layer orthogonal to the bias direction are≤500μm. The copper-zinc alloy powder is precipitated on the tip part of the cathode by electrolysis. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
