PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert a carbonaceous resource to a gas energy in high efficiency. SOLUTION: The carbonaceous resource is thermally cracked in a thermal cracking furnace to form a thermally cracked gas and a thermally cracked tar in the thermally cracking furnace, and the product is pressurized. The pressurized product of the carbonaceous resource is fed with oxygen or a gasified gas partially oxidized with the oxygen and steam to a reformer so as to be reformed by either of the oxygen or the steam, or both thereof. When tar trouble is caused, the thermally cracked tar is separated. The pressurization is carried out from≥0.1 to <1.0 MPa pressure of the thermal cracking furnace to 1.0-5.0 MPa pressure of the gasification furnace or the reformer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
