PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a a manufacturing equipment and method of a color selection electrode for a cathode-ray tube capable of curtailing fluctuation of tensile force for each damper wire. SOLUTION: A back electrode part 21 in contact with an inside face of a leaf spring member 12, a leaf spring fixing part 22, a pressing part for pressing and bending the leaf spring member 12, a measurement part for measuring a reactive force and deformation volume of the leaf spring member at pressing and bending of the leaf spring member 12 and a pressing side electrode part 61. Before welding, the leaf spring member 12 is pressed and bent by the pressing part 31, of which measurement data are obtained by the measurement part 36, a control part 81 calculates a position for the back electrode to be placed based on the measurement data, the back electrode part 21 is moved by a moving part 23 to a position as calculated, the leaf spring member 12 is pressed and bent by the pressing part 31, and the leaf spring member 12 is fixed by the leaf spring fixing part 22 to weld the damper wire 14 to the leaf spring member 12 with the pressing side electrode part 61.
