PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of detecting a current-conduction defective position in a solidifying cell for detecting a current-conduction defective position in a short time to lighten the burden on a remote operator. SOLUTION: In this method, a connector box connected to an external power supply line 6 is provided in the solidifying cell S, and connectors 15b-f of feeder lines 14b-f of a plurality of apparatus 1-5 in the solidified cell S are suitably attached to and detached from the connector box 13 to supply power to the apparatus 1-5 connected through connectors, from the external power supply line 6. At this time, a reference signal p for detecting the disconnection or contact failure of the connectors 15b-f is transmitted from the external power supply line 6, and the waveform of the reflected wave r is detected to specify the current-carrying defective position of the connectors 15b-f and feeder lines 10a, 14b-f from the reflected waveform.
