PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To normally operate an automatic ice-making machine when it is restored to ice-making/defrosting operation by preventing excessive heating and cooling at an ice-making part when the machine is stopped. SOLUTION: When the ice-making machine is stopped, a normally open contact of a relay X<SB>4</SB>which stops the supply of electricity to each load is closed by fusion; when electricity is supplied to each load, the magnetization and demagnetization of a relay X<SB>2</SB>are controlled based on the temperature detected by an ice-making thermistor TH to prevent excessive heating and cooling. That is, when the ice-making thermistor TH detects that the temperature in an ice-making chamber 14 has reached an upper limit temperature, the relay X<SB>2</SB>is magnetized to operate a fan motor as a hot gas valve is closed to supply refrigerant to an evaporator 18. When the ice-making thermistor TH detects that the temperature in the ice-making chamber 14 has dropped to a lower limit temperature, the relay X<SB>2</SB>is demagnetized to stop the fan motor and open the hot gas valve to supply hot gas to the evaporator 18.
