PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form a new key groove 7 even in a place having a narrow space between a front support 10 for supporting a gas turbine 1 and a gear 4. SOLUTION: This gear replacement support device for the gear 4 comprises a fixed arm 24 fixed to a control ring 3, a base fixed to the fixed arm 24, and a slide table 25 having a table 26 mounted with a drill 21 and provided movably in the groove direction of the key groove 7 to the base.
