PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile connecting structure which facilitates and ensures connection of an upper pile and a lower pile, prevents the diameter thereof from enlarging even at a joint portion, and is constructed with high workability. SOLUTION: The upper pile 1 and the lower pile 2 are connected together via respective edge plates 3. The edge plate of each of the upper and lower piles 1, 2 has tensioning tap holes 4 available at the time of producing the pile, and bolts 5 are screwed into the tap holes 4, respectively. Then the other edge plate 3 has insertion portions at locations opposed to the bolts 5. Each insertion portion consists of a large-diameter portion 31 into which a head 51 of the bolt 5 is inserted, a large-diameter slot 32 which communicates with the large-diameter portion 31, and allows the bolt head 51 to circumferentially shift, and a collar 33 which protrudes from the large-diameter slot 32 in a manner pinching a shaft 52 of the bolt 5 and engages with the head 51 of the shifted bolt 5. Then the bolt 5 is inserted into the large-diameter portion 31 formed in the edge plate 3 for the other pile, and by rotating the upper pile 1 with the bolt maintaining the inserted state, the bolt head 51 is shifted to the large-diameter slot 32, to thereby fix both the edge plates 3 to each other.
