An Air Core(TM) cooking vessel has an outer shell, an inner shell disposed inside the outer shell forming an inner space between the outer and inner shells. The inner space formed between the outer and inner shells by interlocking the outer edges of the top flange of the inner shell to outer edges of the bottom flange of the outer shell preserves heat and traps moisture during cooking.
