<p>Method and means with a single control pedal for vehicle accelerator and brake. The single pedal in cab is connected to a mid-drive mechanism via a tread rod, a link rod and a gear unit. The mid-drive mechanism is connected to the accelerator and the brake respectively by two cams on the rotating shaft, an accelerator and a brake drive rod. There are an accelerator idle control switch, an uphill accelerate hand switch, an oil pump and a valve control circuit. The means of this invention is simple in its construction and suitable in its arrangement, it can relieve drivers' intention, avoid mal-operating and fatal accidents, improve vehicle's safety driving performance.</p> |
