Disc brake

The disc brake has a brake disc (4) with a preferred direction of rotation, and a first (2) and a second (3) brake shoe on respective sides of the disc and with respective centers of gravity. The second center of gravity (S2) is offset in relation to the first (S1) by a predetermined distance (V) in the direction of a brake disc trailing side corresponding to the preferred direction of rotation (D) of the brake disc. The offset of the second center of gravity with regard to the first exists both in the initial state and also in the operating state of the brake.
