PURPOSE: A portable washing machine is provided to reduce power consumption even in frequently washing clothes with a small quantity of water and to use for a swimming pool, a gymnasium, and a kitchen of a restaurant by making the washing machine light and small and having boiling-washing and drying functions. CONSTITUTION: A portable washing machine is composed of a cylindrical washing tub(10), a casing(20), a drying device, a driving unit(30), a control unit(40), and a cover(50). The washing tub includes a plurality of water permeating holes and a laundry throw-in door on the cylinder-shaped circumferential surface; a rotary shaft protruded at the center of both sides; and a driven gear(30a) formed at one edge of both sides, and rotates in the horizontal direction for the rotary shaft and the ground. The casing comprises a water supplying port(18a) formed at one of plural walls(20b,20c); a water discharging port(19a) formed at one or other wall with having a valve(19b); and supporting parts formed at the insides of a pair of walls confronting each other to support the rotary shaft, respectively, and the casing is filled with water in washing the laundry and housed with the washing tub and other parts. The drying device is formed from an upper end of the casing to the washing tub to supply heating air to the washing tub. The driving unit transmits power to the driven gear by mounting a driving gear(30b) to the rotary shaft of the motor protruded at the upper part in the casing. The control unit is installed to the casing to control operations of each component to an input signal from the outside. The cover is formed with a plurality of vent holes(50c) and installed to the upper of the casing to open and close the casing. |
