Apparatus for cutting without chip removal plastic profiles

The apparatus has a knife (1) guided transversally to a profile and comprises a cutting section with a blade and a tapered holding section. The cutting section has two guide surfaces parallel to each other and to the knife plane. The blade is delimited by two transition zones which are arranged with a curvature radius and converge tangentially into guide surfaces. The cutting section extends parallel to the blade and has a larger thickness than the holding section.
