CHARGE SETTLEMENT APPARATUS OF MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL AND CHARGE SETTLEMENT METHOD USING MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A charge settlement apparatus of a mobile communication terminal and a charge settlement method using the mobile communication terminal are provided to utilize a mobile communication terminal as a charge settling unit and make a communication connection to a mobile communication network only when data is transmitted. CONSTITUTION: A main processor reads a credit card number or a debit card bank account number and displays it on a display unit(S10). The main processor displays a settlement charge inputted through a key pad by user's manipulation on the display unit(S20). The main processor generates charge settlement information including an ID of a mobile communication terminal, the credit card number or the debit card bank account number(S30). When a settling unit user requests a transaction authentication, the main processor transfers the deal authentication request to a communication module(S40). When the communication module transfers a deal authentication result received from a card company or a bank to the main processor, the main processor discriminates whether the deal authentication has been allowed(S50). The main processor discriminates whether an SMS transmission has been requested(S60). When the SMS transmission has been requested, the main processor generates an SMS text message including the deal authentication result and a receipt issue particulars and transmits it to the mobile communication terminal(S80).
