PURPOSE: A low-stage sensing circuit in operation of an auto cruise control system of a vehicle is provided to prevent overload from being given to the vehicle even when shifting to a low stage while the auto cruise control system operates. CONSTITUTION: In a vehicle mounted with an auto cruise control system(10) and an automatic transmission(20), an operation release switch(11) and an inhibitor switch(30) are connected to a TCU(Transmission Control Unit,40). The auto cruise control system is released by the driving of a transistor(41) in the TCU when the speed range of the automatic transmission is shifted to a speed range except a drive range.
