PURPOSE: A link device for absorbing abnormal strain of a flying sheer is provided to absorb abnormal impact and vibration generated at the flying sheer into a sheer pin of the link to minimize the stress imparted onto a main facility. CONSTITUTION: A link device connects a moving frame to a base frame of a flying sheer. The link device includes left and right connecting rods(202,204) having a plurality of holes(202b,204b) connected to the base frame and the moving frame, front and rear back plates(206a,206b) having holes corresponding to the holes of the rods, a sheer pin(220) having threads at both ends, a locking nut(210) having a plurality of grooves(210a, 210b) engaged with the threads of the sheer pin, and an coupling(212) engaged with the grooves formed at the locking nut.
