FIELD: armament. SUBSTANCE: given radar sight is miniature Doppler radar with coverage exceeding range of effective fire of weapon mounted on weapon with the aid of matching unit. Radar antenna is put on drive ensuring antenna direction scanning independent of barrel of weapon. Position of antenna is fixed on immobile part of drive and axis of bore of weapon is matched in advance with electric axis of radiation pattern of radar antenna. Target is searched for by scanning after antenna unfixing, direction on target is determined while antenna is directed on target, position of weapon bore is adjusted by direction on target till antenna stops in position of matched axes of weapon bore and radar antenna. Then radar is utilized to define direction on target more exactly by maximum of signal, range is found and weapon is aimed by direction and range for shooting while antenna is fixed on it. Matching unit includes shock absorber that enables overload during shooting to be decreased. EFFECT: increased reliability of small arms aiming at target under complex weather conditions, raised effectiveness of small arms usage. 2 cl, 6 dwg |
