PURPOSE: A method for constituting a ring queue using an SRAM(Static RAM) is provided to supply an enhanced service quality by constituting a ring queue using an SRAM, managing a cell effectively and storing cells according to links in the SRAM for preventing a delay or a drop when a cell cannot be received in a lower layer of a link for receiving a cell firstly stored in a FIFO(first-in first-out) in the case that a single FIFO is used. CONSTITUTION: Address bits of an SRAM are classified into the upper bit and the lower bit(ST21). The upper bit constitutes a link by link information(ST22). The lower bit constitutes a ring queue and a word is stored(ST23). A write pointer and a read pointer are set per each link of the upper bit(ST24), and an almost full signal and an almost empty signal are created for a cell unit transmission(ST25). The almost full signal and an almost empty signal are adjusted by comparing the write pointer with the read pointer(ST26).
