METHOD FOR FABRICATING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a liquid crystal display is provided to extend a viewing angle in a specific direction so as to improve optical efficiency and productivity of the liquid crystal display. CONSTITUTION: An insulating layer(130) having the first protrusions is formed on the first substrate(110). The insulating layer is rubbed to make the first protrusions be inclined in a specific direction to form the second protrusions. A reflecting electrode(150) having a uniform thickness is formed on the insulating layer. A common electrode is formed on the second substrate. The first and second substrates are combined with each other such that the reflecting electrode and the common electrode face each other. A liquid crystal layer is formed between the first and second substrates.
