FIELD: building industry, particularly for multi-purpose pipeline construction and repair. SUBSTANCE: device has cartridge formed as squirrel cage, which rests upon pipeline by rollers rotated around cartridge longitudinal axis. Sheaves rotating around cartridge axis are installed on cartridge. Device has frame set against pipeline by rollers arranged in two rows. Frame is connected to cartridge to restrict relative longitudinal movement thereof. Drive mechanism is installed in side low frame part. Rotational moment applied to cartridge is transferred in top-down direction to drive of compensation of tilting moment acting on device. Drive mechanism transmission is formed as chain gear with roller driving chain. Outer side of leading chain branch with respect to chain loop contacts with trailing star member fixed to cartridge.
