FIELD: ice demolition operations, destruction of ice jams in sections of rivers. SUBSTANCE: process of destruction of ice jams in rivers includes blasting of bank edges by explosions directed towards central part of ice jam. Explosive charges are seated in ground along bank line in narrowest point of river channel and blasting operations are started from lowest sections of ice jam downstream of river.
