PURPOSE: A microwave oven range having a toaster function and a method for controlling the same are provided to set up a toasting time by considering an inner temperature of a toaster and an output voltage of a heater. CONSTITUTION: A first key input part(201) is formed to input commands for operating a microwave oven and selecting various menus. A second key input part(202) is formed to input commands for operating a toaster and selecting various menus, kinds of bread, and toasting levels. A memory(203) stores an output voltage for driving a heater(208) according to the kinds of bread and the toasting levels. A temperature sensor(205) senses an inner temperature of the toaster. A micro computer(204) controls to vary a toast heating time according to the sensed inner temperature of the toaster, and controls operations of the microwave oven. A display part(209) displays the operational state of the microwave oven or the toaster.
