PURPOSE: A PWM D/A converter having improved linearity is provided to reduce a switching noise in an integrator and improve linearity of the D/A converter. CONSTITUTION: A PWM D/A converter includes a counter, a comparator, an integrator, and a sampler. The counter counts a clock signal. The comparator compares the output signal of the counter with a digital input signal. The integrator receives and integrates the output signal of the comparator. The sampler receives and samples the output signal of the integrator and generates an analog output signal. Another PWM D/A converter includes a counter(10), a multiplexer(50), an integrator(30), and a sampler(40). The counter counts a clock signal. The multiplexer receives the output signal of the counter and a digital input signal and selects one of the signals. The integrator receives and integrates the output signal of the comparator. The sampler receives and samples the output signal of the integrator and generates an analog output signal.
