PURPOSE: A battery charging/replacement apparatus is provided to automatically couple the charged battery to the automated guide vehicle after separating the used battery from the automated guide vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A battery charging/replacement apparatus comprises a charger(30) having charger boards(31) arranged in a sequence; and a conveyor(40) interposed between an automated guide vehicle(10) and the charger, wherein the conveyor separates a used battery(16) from the automated guide vehicle, conveys the separated battery to the charger board of the charger, separates a charged battery(16a) from the charger board, conveys the separated charged battery to the automated guide vehicle, and couples the separated charged battery to the automated guide vehicle.
