PURPOSE: A burner of heating furnace is provided which improves quality of a material to be heat treated by reducing widthwise temperature deviation of strip in the heating furnace. CONSTITUTION: In a radiation pipe type burner of heating furnace(100), the burner of the heating furnace is characterized in that a pair of tubes(10) of the burner are horizontally installed in a central part of the heating furnace from both sides of the heating furnace in such a way that the tubes of the burner cross each other so that they are not on the same axial line, wherein length up to the front end of the tubes passes by the center of the heating furnace in such a way that front parts of the tubes are overlapped with each other, wherein a distance between central axes of the tubes is d1, and an overlapping distance of the front parts of the tubes is d2.
