ORBITAL GUIDE UNIT FOR PIPE AUTOMATIC WELDING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An orbital guide unit for a pipe automatic welding system is provided to improve productivity of pipes by detachably coupling the orbital guide unit to a surface of a pipe. CONSTITUTION: An orbital guide unit(2) includes two body sections(7,7'). A plurality of leaf springs(8) is provided at an inner portion of the orbital guide unit(2) so as to disperse roundness deviation when two body sections(7,7') are assembled with a pipe(4). A pad(13) is attached to each end of the leaf springs(8) in order to prevent a surface of the pipe(4) from being damaged and to prevent the orbital guide unit(2) from sliding on the surface of the pipe(4). A rack gear(9) is installed at an outer portion of the orbital guide unit(2) so as to guide a carriage when the carriage conveys the pipe(4).
