PURPOSE: An isolator for breeding a germ-free animal is provided to facilitate the establishment, movement and management of an isolator, to enhance the operation convenience and to supply the accommodated animal with the comfortable growing environment. CONSTITUTION: The isolator(1) for breeding a germ-free animal comprising a case(3) as an outer body; a cage rack; an air supplying and venting unit(7); a transport(9); and a glove(11), is characterized in that the case(3) is composed of a holding box(6) and a film wall body(15). The holding box is established removably on a base frame(4) of one or more layers. The film wall body(15) is established removably on the holding box(6).
