FIELD: textile industry, in particular, texturing of one or several threads. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing intensive twisting flow by using optimized air channels allowing at least part of former mechanical reels to be replaced. Main novel member is insertable twisting plate. False twisting nozzle has at least one plate used as insertable twisting plate with through channel part for thread and tangential channel, and at least one member with air supplying means extending in parallel with thread channel axis and engageable with insertable twisting plate for supplying air to accelerating channel. Method and apparatus provides twisting of individual thread or group of threads with selectable combination of S-shaped or Z-shaped twisting process. False twisting nozzle may be made in the form of units or as individual nozzle. EFFECT: increased efficiency in texturing of single or complex threads by providing intensive twisting flow. 26 cl, 39 dwg
