PURPOSE: A transfer device of a wire box is provided to improve convenience by reducing fatigue of a worker in putting the wire box early, to lengthen the life span of the wire box by preventing collision of wire boxes, and to increase the productivity by preventing return of the wire box. CONSTITUTION: A wire box transfer device comprises a box supply conveyor(20) installed horizontally over the bottom of an assembly line; a forward and backward driving conveyor(30) connected to the box supply conveyor to change the direction for transferring a wire box(12) to a worker or returning an empty box; a height adjustable conveyor(50) combined with the forward and backward driving conveyor through a connecting rod and a hinge shaft and connected to a conveyor cylinder to adjust the height of the other end for the worker in lifting the conveyor cylinder up and down; an empty box checking unit(60) fixed on a frame installed over the intersection of the box supply conveyor and the forward and backward driving conveyor to check the wire box from the forward and backward driving conveyor to be empty; a box return conveyor(70) horizontally installed to the box supply conveyor to return the empty box; and a controller(80) having an end switch(81) controlling lifting of the conveyor cylinder, and controlling operation of conveyors and the empty box checking unit.
