PURPOSE: A detergent supply device of a washing machine is provided to use a detergent of fixed quantity, keep the circumference of the detergent supply device clean, and prevent water from remaining in the detergent supply device. CONSTITUTION: A detergent supply device(24) of a washing machine comprises a detergent vessel(27) forming water supply ports(25a,25b,25c,25d,25e) through which water is supplied, detergent storage parts(26a,26b,26c) in which a detergent is stored, and a discharge port(28) through which water or the detergent is discharged; pools(28a,28b,28c,28d) for storage of water forming water overflow sills(27a,27b,27c,27d) between the detergent storage parts and the pools for storage of water, to store water supplied to the water supply ports and to make the detergent in the detergent storage parts carried away by overflowing water; and slits(32a,32b,32c,32d) formed on a side of the water overflow sills, to discharge the remaining water of the pools for storage of water to the detergent storage parts.
