PURPOSE: A rotary type contactless information switch is provided to reduce parts count and costs, while achieving improved user convenience and lengthening the useful life of the switch. CONSTITUTION: A rotary type contactless information switch(20) comprises a rotary switch knob(22) arranged in the outside from a switch body(21); an operating shaft(23) arranged in the switch body in such a manner that the operating shaft is elastically supported by a spring(36) and movable downward when the rotary switch knob is pressed; a switch gear(24) arranged beneath the rotary switch knob in such a manner that the switch gear rotates when the rotary switch knob rotates; an electromotive force generating unit(25) for generating an electromotive force by the rotating forces of the rotary switch knob and the switch gear; and a micro controller(31) for sensing the rotating angle of the rotary switch knob and controlling the display unit in such a manner that the functions are displayed in the preset sequence.
