PURPOSE: A high velocity oxygen fuel spraying method is provided which obtains hardness of coating layer and high actual yield of coating material by simply and plainly optimizing various complicated spraying conditions required in the high velocity oxygen fuel spraying process of a WC-Cr-Ni spraying material. CONSTITUTION: In a high velocity oxygen fuel spraying method for coating molten spraying material on the surface of a matrix by accelerating melting of a spraying material of WC-Cr-Ni using light oil fuel and oxygen, the high velocity oxygen fuel spraying method is characterized in that the spraying material is sprayed under the conditions that a fuel quantity is 6.6 to 7.0 gph(gallon/hour), an oxygen flow rate is 1,900 to 1,960 scfh(standard cubic feet per hour), and a spraying distance is 290 to 330 mm, wherein a particle size of the WC powder is 1 to 3 μm, and wherein the oxygen flow rate is in the range of 1,910 to 1,960 scfh(standard cubic feet per hour).
