PURPOSE: A cavern using a wavy steel plate is provided to reduce bending moment and to shorten a period of construction. CONSTITUTION: The cavern using a wavy steel plate comprises: a footing unit installed on the excavated ground using concrete; a supporting unit installed to be projected toward both sides of the footing unit using concrete; and a wavy steel plate structure(120) formed on the supporting unit by assembling many wavy steel plates in the arched shape.
