PURPOSE: An extension tube assembly for a vacuum cleaner is provided to prevent a floor from being scratched by detachably coupling a flexible auxiliary tube to the end of an extension tube, and to suck dust in a corner by using the elasticity of the auxiliary tube. CONSTITUTION: An extension tube(100) transmits suction force generated by a motor installed in a cleaner body to a suction port. An auxiliary tube(120) is detachably coupled to the end portion(110) of the extension tube, and is made of a flexible material. A vent hole(130) is formed at the circumference of the lower part of the auxiliary tube.
