JUICER WITH SAFETY DEVICE

PURPOSE: A juicer with a safety device is provided to prevent accidents by cutting off the supply of power to a drive unit when an input bar is inserted into an input port of the juicer and to easily and quickly work by enlarging the input port. CONSTITUTION: A juicer with a safety device is composed of a body(10); a drive unit(12) mounted to the body; a grater(13) and a filter(14) mounted to the upper part of the body and rotated by the drive unit to separate fruits and vegetables into juice and fibroid materials; a juicing unit(15) disposed to the outer periphery of the filter to collect and discharge juice passed through the filter and separated to a juice discharging outlet formed at the side; a cover(20) for covering the upper part of the juicing unit and including an input port(22) for putting fruits and vegetables into the grater; a cover latch(24) for closely contacting the cover and the juicing unit to the body; an input bar(40) inserted into the input port to compress the input fruits and vegetables to the grater; a press pin of which one end is mounted to the side of the input port to be pressurized by the input bar; and a safety switch(36) for interlocking with the press pin and supplying power to the drive unit by pressurizing the press pin.
