The reflector solar catchment unit has energy taken in by a highly absorbent fluid which passes through coils or other formats of pipes. The catchment unit is fitted in a box (1) provided with channel-shaped reflector bowls (4). The coil tubes (8) are provided with surface-enlarging absorption plates (10) fitted virtually parallel with the catchment unit outer plane and diametrically counterposed on the coil tubes. The absorber plates have a width corresponding to 40 to 60 per cent of the width of each reflector. The coil tubes with the absorber plates are fitted parallel in line with rounded W-shaped reflector bowl units. The reflectors lie freely but lack insulation on their under side.
