PURPOSE: A cooling and heating cabinet by using hydrogen storage alloy is provided to prevent environmental pollution, and to improve energy efficiency by cooling and keeping warm with heating and absorbing heat through the hydrogen storage alloy. CONSTITUTION: A cooling and heating cabinet comprises a body(100) having cryogenic, freezing, cooling and heating chambers(110-140); first, second, third and fourth heat exchange chambers(210-240) installed in the rear part of the body; a freezer compartment cool air guide unit moving cool air between cryogenic and freezing chambers and first and second heat exchange chambers; a refrigerator cool air guide unit moving cool air between the refrigerator compartment and third and fourth heat exchange chambers; a hot air guide unit moving warm air between the heating chamber and third and fourth chambers; reactors(10,20,30,40) installed in heat exchange chambers; hydrogen flow pipes(50a-50d) connected to reactors to move hydrogen; a pumping unit(70) applying pressure to move hydrogen between reactors; and a valve unit(60) regulating transfer direction of hydrogen according to the control unit. Freezing, cooling or heating is performed by using endothermic reaction and exothermic reaction between the hydrogen storage alloy and hydrogen.
