PURPOSE: Structure for preventing forcible opening of a door for a washing machine is provided to prevent a failure of the washing machine and an accident by controlling forcible opening of the door. CONSTITUTION: Structure for preventing forcible opening of a door for a washing machine comprises the door opening and shutting a laundry-entrance and exit hole(22) formed to the front of a drum; a hook(40) mounted to the door; a door-locking switch(50) mounted beside the laundry-entrance and exit hole, to make the hook locked; and a fitting projection(48) formed on the hook, to make the door fitted in the opening direction of the door when the door-locking switch is locked. The fitting projection is projected on the opposite side of a head part of the hook.
