PURPOSE: An apparatus for photographing a three-dimensional image is provided to transmit a three-dimensional image obtained by CMOS image sensors to a personal computer through a serial interface. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for photographing a three-dimensional image includes a plurality of image sensors(101,102), a multiplexer(103), an image processor(104), and a controller(106). The plurality of image sensors obtain an image of an object through lenses. The multiplexer provides a clock signal to the plurality of image sensors sequentially. The image processor receives video data output from the image sensors in synchronization with the clock signal to construct output image data frames. The controller controls the operations of the multiplexer and image processor and transmits the output image data frames to an external device(105) through a serial interface(107).
